A major airline has announced new flights from Edinburgh Airport to a popular European destination this winter.
Those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital over the Christmas period will soon be able to board a flight to Prague, Czech Republic, for a limited time only.
The flights will operate twice-weekly, beginning in November as part of the Jet2's Winter 23/24 schedule, reports the Scottish Sun. Those planning on taking the airline up on their offer will need to be quick, though, as the offer runs from November 30 until December 17.

Jet2 has said the new destination comes as part of their Christmas Markets destinations. The airline has said the expansion of their city breaks comes after a strong demand from customers and independent travel agents.
As well as new flights to Prague, there are a whole host of changes the airline has made ahead of the winter months. Flights to Vienna from Birmingham and Manchester Airport have also been announced.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are seeing strong demand for city breaks this winter, with more people than ever wanting to visit their favourite city break destinations.
"As always, we want to give customers and independent travel agents what they want, so have added flights and city breaks to Vienna throughout the whole of the winter season.
"On top of this, we have also extended our Prague and Krakow routes from East Midlands Airports throughout winter too.
"As the largest operator of European city breaks, we know that these new services will be extremely popular, as people look for a magical winter escape with a company they can rely on.”
