Jet2 has added extra seats for flights from Newcastle Airport in October half-term 2023.
The week-long school break in autumn is one of the most popular times for families to travel and often the best way to save money is to book early.
Jet2 says extra flights have been added from Newcastle to Fuerteventura and Tenerife in the Canary Islands as well as Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We are seeing strong demand throughout summer 23 from customers and independent travel agents in the region, with the October half-term period proving to be an extremely popular time for a holiday. In response to that, we have added additional capacity across popular destinations in the Canary Islands and Turkey, as well as in the Mediterranean.
"As families are increasingly looking for great value holidays, booking a half-term holiday for next year now allows them to get the price locked in. While the size and scale of our summer 23 programme from Newcastle International Airport means we are already offering unrivalled choice, we are expanding this even further and giving customers and independent travel agents in the region even more flexibility to book or enjoy a holiday.”
Extra seats have also been added for summer 2023 trips to Rhodes in Greece.
Mr Heapy added: “With customers flocking to get Summer 23 holiday booked in their diaries, we are anticipating a hugely successful summer season and are confident that these additional flights from Newcastle International Airport will be a massive hit.”
