Jet2 add extra flights from Manchester Airport to Turkey, Spain and Portugal

Jet2 is launching additional services to popular holiday destinations this summer from Manchester Airport following a surge in demand. The airline will operate extra flights to resorts in Turkey, the Balearics, the Canaries and Portugal with thousands of extra seats available.

As part of their Summer 23 season, Jet2 and Jet2holidays are putting on more flights to Antalya, Turkey, from March 31 to May 24, perfect for those looking for some spring sunshine. The companies have also expanded their services to Majorca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Faro.

The additional services are in response to a strong customer demand as more passengers seek out an early getaway. The new dates give holidaymakers more flexibility when it comes to booking their trip.

The expansion comes just weeks after Jet2holidays received Which? Recommended Provide December 2022 status for the fifth year running. It follows Which’s? annual survey of beach and resort package holiday providers, seeing Jet2holidays receive this prestigious title in three categories - ‘Beach and Resort Holiday Provider’, ‘Family Holiday Provider’ and ‘Solo Holiday Provider’.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “Just weeks after being recognised as a Which? Recommended Provider, we are delighted to be announcing even more award-winning flights and holidays for customers and independent travel agents to choose from. We are experiencing strong demand from customers looking to enjoy some early Turkish sun and, as always, we have been quick to respond by adding extra capacity to Antalya from Manchester Airport. This expansion further strengthens our commitment to Turkey, and we are looking forward to bringing even more holidaymakers to this fantastic destination.”

He added: “Not stopping there, we have also put on additional services to family favourites in the Balearics, the Canaries and Portugal, providing even more choice and flexibility for those looking to get away this summer and experience our VIP customer service.”
