Jesy Nelson shows off rock hard abs as she confuses fans with 50th birthday post

Jesy Nelson flaunted her toned figure as she celebrated her 32nd birthday in her adopted home of California.

The former Little Mix star looked stylish as she posed for the camera in a sparkling crop top, which showed off her rock hard abs, a pair of figure-hugging camouflage trousers and heels.

Jesy was standing on her modern styled stairs, which is coupled with glass bannister, as she shared three seductive snaps for her 9.7 million Instagram followers.

However, she confused her fans by stating she was 18 years older than she actually was. She wrote: "50 never felt so good."

Confused fans were quick to comment on her strange age-related post as they wished her a happy birthday.

One person commented: "You’re like a fine wine!!! Here’s to 50 more years of you!"

Another fan replied: "If you’re 50 I'm dead. Happy birthday legend," while another said: "50? What?"

A fourth added: "You look Fabulous! So Grateful to see you happy, Jesy! You deserve every bit of joy, kindness and love!"

Jesy, whose birthday was on Wednesday, made the move Stateside a few months ago and she enjoyed her special day alongside boyfriend Zion Foster in the Los Angeles sun.

Earlier this year, Jesy revealed she hasn't spoken to her former Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – whom she won The X Factor alongside in 2011 – since quitting the band two years ago.

Jesy announced her decision to quit in a shock statement and, while the remaining members publicly shared support for her decision, she's now revealed she hasn't spoken to them since.

Discussing her decision to leave, Jesy revealed she had no "regrets" and said she'll "always cherish the memories" made during her time in the pop group.

However, she added to The Sun: "So no, we haven’t talked since then. Never say never, but I honestly wish them the best on their solo journeys now, which is so exciting.

"I think that is what is so exciting about all of us. We are all musically different styles. I think we will all go in our own lane."

The feud kicked up a gear when Jesy released the video for her debut single Boyz, where she was accused of blackfishing – a term which refers to people presenting themselves as Black or mixed race.

Jesy responded to the claims in a livestream, where she said: "I personally want to say that my intention was never, ever to offend people of colour with this video and my song because like I said, growing up as a young girl, this is the music that I listened to.

"These are the videos that I watched and thought were the best. For me personally, ’90s/2000 hip hop, R&B music was the best era of music.

"I just wanted to celebrate that. I just wanted to celebrate that era of music because it is what I love."
