Jesy Nelson rocks bizarre leather get up as she celebrates her birthday with pals

Jesy Nelson turned heads with her interesting outfit choice as she continues to count down to her 31st birthday.

The singing star, who was previously a member of the pop group Little Mix, decided on a bold black get up as she hit Wyld nightclub in London after enjoying dinner with friends earlier at trendy Ours restaurant in South Kensington.

Jesy opted for high waisted black leather pants with a loose fit that she paired with a long sleeved leopard print bralette.

The leopard print top was lined with a fluffy black trim which she paired with black sunglasses and a black bag.

It wasn't all dark for the birthday look though, with Jesy bringing the outfit together with bright white nails.

The singer recently clapped back at reports that record label bosses had scrapped her first album after leaving Little Mix was being scrapped, with her reassuring fans that they have “nothing to worry about”.

Jesy, who turns 31 on Tuesday, has been working for months on her debut album but had come face-to-face with a number of rumours that music bosses were underwhelmed and as a result had scrapped her album.

She took to Instagram to tell her fans that this was not the case with a story set against a dramatic black background with white italic font.

“Don’t usually comment on stuff like this because I can’t be bothered to waste my energy on total and utter nonsense so I’m going to address this once and once only as I know you guys are freaking out,” the vocalist wrote with a laughing face emoji.

The star went on to say: “I promise you there is absolutely nothing to worry about. I’ve had an amazing time in the studio in LA working on my album which is almost finished.

“I’m so excited for you all to hear the next single which is coming soon. So, stay tuned.

“I love you all and thank you for being so patient x.”

A music insider previously told The Sun on Sunday that after the release of her first solo single Boyz last year, Jesy let her label hear early versions of the songs she had come up with.

They claimed the label had wanted her to go back “to go back to the drawing board”.

Her debut solo Boyz sparked controversy with the release of her music video where Jesy was accused of appropriating black culture and ' blackfishing '.
