Jessie Wynter has shared an update on her health after she was hospitalised due to her drink being spiked while on holiday in the US.
The former Love Island contestant, 26, had embarked on a trip to Chicago with her partner, Will Young, when the incident occurred.
Telling her followers of the incident, she took to social media to share the message, “I wasn't sure if I should post this as I felt so embarrassed but the other night I was unfortunately rushed to hospital after my drink was spiked.”
Jessie confirmed that she had been looked after by Will but was concerned about the number of women taken to hospital for the same issue.
Just days later, the reality star admitted she was much better and was grateful for the support she had received.
Uploading an image of a field surrounded by trees with a white horse in the background, she added text over the top that read: “I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all the messages, love and support I’ve been given on my last post.
“I’m doing okay now, I am at home spending time with Will and my family.
“Sending love to all of those with similar stories. So sad that this is something that happens so often. (Red heart emoji)
“Once again, thank you all so much for your lovely messages and comments. Beyond grateful for all of you. (Red heart emoji)”
Jessie had previously uploaded a few images to her Instagram account of herself in hospital, including one of her lying in a hospital bed in jeans, trainers and a sports shirt, appearing to be asleep.
She was also covered in a series of medical patches in another picture.
In another Instagram post, Jessie had added pictures of herself with Will at a baseball game in Chicago. She captioned it: “Going to the US has always been on my bucket list and here I am with the love of my life having the best time! I could never have imagined life to be this good. Thank you so much Chicago for the best time everrr !!”
