Jessie J reveals she’s ‘very ready’ to give birth as she shows off baby bump

Jessie J has opened up about her pregnancy and teased it won’t be long until she gives birth.

The Price Tag singer, 35, is currently pregnant with her first child with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman and says she is “very ready” to welcome their new addition.

Taking to Instagram Live on Monday night, she could be seen sitting on her sofa in a black sports bra and grey jogging bottoms as she cradled her baby bump.

During the live stream, she belted out an impressive rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing — much to the delight of her fans — and also used the opportunity to give an update on how her journey to motherhood is going.

The Essex native shared that her baby boy is a “wriggler” as she admitted she is “feeling good, a little uncomfortable and very ready”.

“I just miss singing, I miss performing, there’s lots happening,” she told her fans.

When asked how far along she is, the Do It Like A Dude hit-maker replied: “I am not sharing my due date but I am clearly not far away, hence why I am so ready.”

Discussing coping with pregnancy symptoms, she said: “For me, the hardest thing is the back pain and the nausea in the beginning.

“But I am honestly so grateful to have a good pregnancy and have felt great.

“It is uncomfortable and you don’t sleep very much.”

Jessie has made no secret of her desire to become a mother after once being told that she could “never have children” due to fertility issues.

She was left devastated in November 2021 after suffering a miscarriage.
