Jessie J reflected on her grief of losing her "angel baby", exactly one year on from when she was told she had miscarried.
The singer, 34, who planned on having a baby on her own, was devastated when she tragically lost her unborn baby in the early stages of pregnancy last year.
Taking to Instagram, Jessie, who has been open about her struggles to carry a child, wrote an incredibly personal message in memory of her baby, but also in the hope it may help others going through the same tragedy.
"A year ago today I was told my baby no longer had a heartbeat," she wrote.
She continued, "Although I can tell the story now without crying, have and still am discovering all the positives that experience gave me."
She then listed all the qualities she has discovered in herself since losing her baby: "strength, wisdom, empathy, and gratitude' before adding, 'It still hurts and all day I have just been thinking about all the women and men and families who have been through this numerous times and how incredibly strong they are."
"Time helps but it never truly fades,' she added.
"Sending love and strength to anyone's heart that has or is experiencing this right now,' she wrote in the post.
"And to my little angel baby. I feel you everywhere. Especially today."
Jessie, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said that she's trying again for a baby and noted that her body is "changing shape" as a result.
Sharing her story with the audience at a London gig, Jessie said: "I have gained weight and I've not been to the gym in ages, but honestly, I feel great. I'm not 17 anymore and I want to make a baby and I am trying to do that and my body is changing shape."
According to The Sun, Jessie said that she "finally feels at ease" with her life after years of being "lost in Hollywood".
"I feel like people understand me more than they did ten years ago. It wasn't easy to write songs about things like being in the club or boys. It isn't who I am," she explained.
"Everybody wanted me to write those songs. I was in LA by myself and I remember looking in the mirror and being obsessed with being perfect. I felt like I had to be who people wanted to be accepted."

Speaking on The Diary Of A CEO Podcast, she admitted that she felt incredibly lonely after losing her baby.
She still performed a gig in LA just a day after she was told the heartbreaking news that her baby didn't have a heartbeat.
Explaining why she shared the news on social media, she said: "I posted it because I didn't have anyone to break on… I didn't have anyone to fall apart on, and that's what I needed, that's what I wanted."
