Jessie J once sang that Mamma Knows Best – and now she’s masterminding a pop comeback while five months pregnant.
The Do It Like A Dude singer is filming a documentary that will chronicle her chart return while becoming a first-time mum.
Jessie is also working on a new LP, with a world tour to follow in 2024.
My source says: “Jessie’s determined not to let her pregnancy prevent her from relaunching her career.
“The documentary will see Jessie discuss everything from her pregnancy, miscarriage, health problems, heartbreak and love life to her fall from public favour and planned comeback.”
A decade ago, Jessie was one of the world’s biggest female singers. But the 2011 BRITs winner hasn’t had a hit song since 2015’s Pitch Perfect 2 single Flashlight.
Jessie, whose boyfriend is basketball player Chanan Colman, took a step back from stardom after a series of flops and health problems.
But she is now set to play the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London later this month, with a TV crew in tow – and US duo Louis York are also expected to appear after working with Jessie on new music.
I’m told various networks are interested in the docu, and series two could follow.
