Jessica Simpson's new collection is inspired by her new "Rockabilly sensibility".
The 44-year-old singer has opened up on how her eponymous fashion brand's fall/holiday 2024 clothing and shoe collection has taken inspiration from her return to music.
She told People magazine: "There's a rock and roll western vibe that runs through the pieces of this collection.
"It is a celebration of how different forms of artistic expressions are woven together."
She has been influenced by her recording sessions in Nashville for the new campaign, while she is glad to still be expressing herself through fashion.
She said: "Creativity is absolutely interrelated with fashion for me. I find that what I am wearing helps me evoke a certain sense of self.
"It is really always inner confidence coming out that is most beautiful in my opinion, but sometimes clothes and shoes can help navigate part of the creative process."
The Texas native enjoyed getting "into character" when she was in the studio in Nashville, and she loves the way she blends her fashion and music worlds.
She added: "If I dress the part of what I am feeling artistically I am better able to express myself in the words and music I am writing...
"Lots of fringe, lots of turquoise, high heels and lots of slip dresses, short and long! I kind of created my own style based on the songs I am singin'."
With the autumn months bringing back memories of returning to school, Jessica recalled her mother helping her feel "cute", while she still plays a part on her style choices today.
She said: "Even though we didn’t have resources for a lot of back to school shopping, my mom always found a way to help me feel cute and accessorise outfits so they felt stylish and unique.
"She still helps style my outfits sometimes and I am always reminded about when that started with me going back to school as a kid."
