Jessica Fox has added the overall canoe World Cup title to her year of triumph.

The Australian won the last round at La Seu in Spain to secure the series win as well.

Fox won three gold medals in the canoe World Cup series this year, as well as a silver.

She bounced back from fifth the previous day in the kayak to beat Czech competitor Gabriela Satkova by .11 of a second in the canoe final.

It follows Fox's starring role at the Paris Olympics, where she and Eddie Ockenden were the team flagbearers for the opening ceremony.

She won the canoe and kayak events, making it three career Olympic gold medals.

The competition at La Reu will end on Sunday with the kayak cross, where Fox will compete alongside younger sister Noemie.

After Jessica was eliminated from the kayak cross, Noemie made it a family clean sweep when she won the gold medal at her debut Olympics.
