Jesse Marsch believes Leeds United have enough quality to avoid being drawn in a Premier League relegation battle. The Whites made an impressive start to the season with a 3-0 win over Chelsea the pick of the results.
However, a mid-season blip prior to the World Cup saw Leeds plummet down the table. Wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool relieved some of the pressure on Marsch and his side.
However, with defeat to Manchester City and a trip to Newcastle United on the horizon, there's very little let up for the Whites. January presents Marsch and his side an opportunity to get some points on the board, while also giving the hierarchy an opportunity to invest in the playing squad.

Marsch told Amazon Prime: "I’m just looking to stay focused on our ability to stay in the moment and be at our best for each match. I feel like when we do that, we can have a good team.
"We still have work to do, we still need to get a couple guys healthy, because we think some of those guys can really help us, but I just want us to keep our heads down and focus on getting better week-to-week. We know that we have enough quality in our team to not be in a relegation battle, but it will require this kind of mentality to just be a workman, go after it everyday, and do everything we can."
