Jesse Marsch did a 'fantastic' job at helping the situation between the two dugouts in Leeds United's dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. That's according to former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher, who believes that the American did Kevin Friend a favour by defusing the players and staff following a nasty-looking challenge on Adam Forshaw.
The two benches seemed adamant about something when Forshaw was fouled on the halfway line - with Wolves boss Bruno Lage and Kalvin Phillips amongst those involved in the confrontation. However, Marsch seemed to intervene and calm everyone down when it was about to boil up.
On the pitch, Leeds managed to overcome Lage's men in a thrilling five-goal thriller at Molineux. Jonny Otto and Francisco Trincao gave Wolves a two-nil advantage, before the Whites staged a dramatic second-half fightback.

Jack Harrison, Rodrigo and Luke Ayling struck to give Leeds a vital three points in their pursuit of staying in the Premier League. When asked about the incident, Gallagher hailed Marsch's impact on the situation.
He told Sky Sports: "I think Jesse Marsch has done absolutely fantastic, he has helped the referee so much. He managed to defuse the situation and it allowed the fourth official then just to do his job. He allows Kevin Friend to do his job and I think that's to be applauded."
The Whites will now have a two-week break before they host Southampton in their next encounter on Saturday, April 2. This time period will give Marsch a chance to give his players a rest as they try to recover for the final stretch of the campaign.
Although Everton, Burnley and Watford have all got matches in hand, Leeds will fancy themselves to pick up enough points to stay in the top-flight given their fixture run between now and the end of the season. The Whites face just three of the top-half in their final eight games.
