Jesse Marsch on why Leeds United's youthful duo could be a 'recipe for success'

Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch is excited by the blossoming partnership between Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto, and believes the pair could be a 'recipe for success'.

Summerville followed his memorable winner at Anfield, with another decisive strike in a seven-goal thriller against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday. Leeds came from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at Elland Road, and Gnonto was once again effective from the bench.

He played a crucial role in the winning goal against Liverpool, and consolidated his 18-minute cameo at Anfield by registering his first assist for the club against the Cherries. Gnonto picked the ball up inside his own half and raced forward with a mesmerising solo run.

Summerville escaped the clutches of his marker and was picked out by a beautifully weighted through ball. The Dutchman maintained his composure to fire an emphatic finish past Mark Travers and earn Leeds back-to-back league victories for the first time this season.

Marsch has vowed to continue using their 'youthful talent' after their recent performances against Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.

"Cry [Summerville] is developing and you can see his confidence and we're going to continue to push him to mature and be a complete player," Marsch said.

"You can see it swelling, you can see it growing and it's great. Yeah, I think they have a really strong friendship and if we can build them up and continue to use their youthful talent and enthusiasm and desire to improve and fearlessness that can be a good recipe for success, even with young players."
