Leeds United have hired Jesse Marsch as the man to replace Marcelo Bielsa as head coach at Elland Road.
The 48-year-old has signed a contract until 2025 with the Whites and begins work right away in West Yorkshire given he has been unemployed since December last year.
The American arrives with four clubs on his CV in Montreal Impact, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig.
Marsch is a known proponent of the high-pressing, high-energy football which has become synonymous with the Red Bull stable of clubs.
Victor Orta has moved to hire Marsch with the intention of building upon the best of the foundations Bielsa leaves behind after nearly four years of drilling in that style.
Marsch becomes the 38th permanent manager or head coach to take charge of the Whites and he now has 12 matches in the Premier League campaign to steer the club away from danger.
His first match in the dugout will be at Leicester City on Saturday.
