Simon Jordan has claimed that former Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch will have "no greater motivation" at Southampton than getting the Saints out of the relegation zone out the Whites' expense.
Marsch is reportedly on the brink of becoming the new Southampton manager following his sacking at Leeds last week. The American appears to be wasting no time as he looks to spearhead the south coast club's attempt to avoid the drop.
Leeds are still searching for their new manager following the American's departure as they look to turn around a poor run of form that has left them without a Premier League victory since November.

The Whites face two crucial matches in their bid to for top-flight survival starting with Everton this weekend and Southampton the game after that. And now Jordan has claimed that Marsch will be desperate to keep the Saints up instead of his former side, despite his assertion that the American is not fit to manage a Premier League team.
"I don’t think he’s got the chops," Jordan told talkSPORT. "I don’t know whether this is a board appointment or an owner appointment. I don’t think he’s a good enough manager. I think he is all style over substance and I don’t think the style is that great and the substance is lacking – it’s the best of a bad bunch.
"The circumstances around this one are energising for Jesse Marsch because there will be no greater motivation to prove his ability than going out of the side that boots him out and relegating them.
“He will say that’s not the case because he loves Leeds United and it was a wonderful opportunity. But how much satisfaction would he get if he were to pull Southampton of the relegation zone and Leeds United back into it.”
