Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch has been fined £10,000 and a touchline ban by the FA following improper conduct in the Whites' match with Brentford. The head coach was shown a red card for making his feelings known to the officials after Crysencio Summerville's penalty appeals were waved away.
It was an afternoon to forget for Marsch's side as the Bees ran out 5-2 winners. The Leeds boss had until last Friday to respond to the charges, following a breach of FA Rule E3.
He has now accepted that his language and behaviour was improper. An FA statement read: "Leeds United FC’s Jesse Marsch has been fined £10,000 and suspended from the touchline for their next fixture following a breach of FA Rule E3 that happened at their match against Brentford FC in the Premier League on Saturday 3 September 2022.
"The manager admitted that his language and behaviour during the 64th minute of that game was improper. An independent Regulatory Commission subsequently imposed his sanctions."
