Jesse Lingard has sent a message of support to Manchester United teammate Paul Pogba following the release of 'The Pogmentary' on Amazon Prime.
Pogba's new five-part series on the streaming service has caused controversy due to comments he makes about United in the documentary. When discussing a £300,000-per-week contract offer from the club, Pogba is seen telling his late agent Mino Raiola: "They’re bluffing. How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that."
Due to the Frenchman's poor form since arriving back at Old Trafford in 2016, fans did not take kindly to the 29-year-old appearing to turn his nose up at the lucrative contract offer. Despite this, Lingard, who is a close friend of Pogba's, was keen to send his support.

In an Instagram story, Lingard tagged Pogba along with three fire emojis while watching the introduction to the series. Neither Lingard nor Pogba will be lining up for United next season after the club confirmed they will be leaving when their contracts expire later this month.
Boyhood United fan Lingard came through the academy but found playing time hard to come by under Ralf Rangnick and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Meanwhile, Pogba's release comes six years after United spent a then-world-record fee to bring him back to Old Trafford, though his return will go down as one of the club's worst signings in recent history.
