Former Nottingham Forest striker Glenn Murray has delivered his verdict on Jesse Lingard following the 5-0 defeat at Arsenal.
Four different Arsenal players got on the scoresheet. Gabriel Martinelli scored the opening goal inside five minutes before Reiss Nelson scored two in quick succession after the break to take the game away from the hapless visitors. Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard then added to their pain with further goals.
Summer signing Lingard, who was handed a start by Steve Cooper at the Emirates, again struggled to make an impact. The 29-year-old former Manchester United star is yet to find the back of the net for Reds, despite starting nine of their 13 Premier League games so far this term.

A huge of influx of players in the summer and promotion has left Forest struggling to adjusting to their new status, but Murray, who scored twice for Forest in 16 league appearances in 2021, believes they should be benefitting more from Lingard's presence in the team.
He told BBC Sport: "Jesse Lingard has been quite wasteful in possession. Forest need more from him, especially going forward. A little bit more creativity."
