Jesse Lingard has said his combination of "JLingz" and trademark Cristiano Ronaldo's "Siu" celebration was a welcoming gift for the returning five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Lingard scored twice and assisted Bukayo Saka's header ina 4-0 win over Andorra at Wembley.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring after 18 minutes following a piece of skill from Jude Bellingham that allowed the Manchester United -man to feed the ball outside to Saka, his cross deflected into his path and he cooly converted into the bottom right corner.
He wheeled away in celebration lifting off in typical Ronaldo fashion holding the "JL" across his face.
"Yeah, no I mean me and Mason [Mount] were thinking of celebrations this week and obviously we mixed my celebration with Cristiano’s I said I’d do it," he told BEIN Sports after the match.
"Yeah it’s a little welcoming gift [for Ronaldo] but yeah he’ll settle in quickly he’ll help this team brilliantly. "
The Portugal captain completed his sensational return to Old Trafford on deadline day completing a £12.8m move from Juventus.
He is in line to make his first appearance for the Reds since 2009 as they gear up for Newcastle's trip to the Theatre of Dreams, he goes into the match in high spirits after breaking Ali Daei's record for the most international goals scored by a man.

Lingard's second came shortly after Harry Kane fired home from 12-yards to double England's lead in what was a "poor" game according to former United midfielder Roy Keane.
"Jesse will be delighted a good game for him," Keane said.
"He does what every good player, does passes out wide and follows his pass. It was an easy game for him, these are the games you expect him to have an impact because the opposition is really poor.
"Poor quality from both sides, a couple of good goals from Jesse, you know he’s going to take a strike, no backlift, ‘keeper obviously question marks."
It was Lingard's first goal for the Three Lions since he scored in the win against Croatia in the Nations League, although it was the first time he had been at the double for England.
