Jess Glynne to headline Harlequins family event Big Summer Kick-Off 2024 at Twickenham Stadium

Jess Glynne has been confirmed as the headline performer at ruby team the Harlequins Big Summer Kick-Off.

Set to take place place on Saturday, April 27, this marks the third year of the event at Twickenham Stadium and promises pulsating rugby and live entertainment for all the family.

Leading the action on the pitch, the Harlequins will take on Northampton Saints for their penultimate Home Gallagher Premiership Fixture as the Men’s squad make their final push for a top-four finish.

While Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Glynne, 34, will take centre stage at half time as she follows in the footsteps of global DJs Pete Tong, Faithless and Joel Corry as well as artists like Kaiser Chiefs and Craig David who have recently played at Harlequins events.

The event will coincide with the release of the Friend of Mine songstress’ third and latest studio album, Jess, with her teasing that her performance will be a “celebration”.

Speaking about her involvement in a press release, Glynne said: "Headlining Big Summer Kick-Off at Twickenham Stadium is going to be big. My new album comes out the day before so I’m looking forward to celebrating that with everyone and perform some of my favourite songs. Let's go!"Also set to perform are band Massaoke, who will lead the raucous crowd through their favourite singalong hits post-match in the West Fan Village.

Marcus Smith, Harlequins  and England fly-half said: “Our Big series of games at Twickenham Stadium always bring together a great mix of fans, families and people looking for a fantastic day out and coming up against a rival like Northampton Saints the match will definitely have an extra edge, both on and off the pitch. We can’t wait to put on a great show and hopefully come away with an important win.”

West Village will once again host a dizzying array of food and drink stalls, satisfying even the most discerning foodie longing for summer BBQs and drinks in the sunshine.

There will be lots to keep the kids entertained too with free fun rides for all the family, have-a-go inflatables, Harlequins mascots, face painters and live music performances around the stadium/
