Anyone who has seen a Jet2 advert in recent years will no doubt be familiar with Jess Glynne's song Hold My Hand, as it's played in every single promotional video.
Those who have flown with the budget airline will also know they play the song on repeat before takeoff, to the annoyance of many passengers.
Recently, singer from London epically mocked her own song by posing a video to Twitter from her performance at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend.
The 33-year-old captioned the video: "Who's ready for me to ruin their summer holiday?". Filmed by someone in the crowd, the clip shows Jess on stage saying: "Welcome to Jess Glynne Airways," before she goes into the intro of Hold My Hand, to massive cheers from the crowd.
Jess' fans thought the jibe was hilarious, with one person saying: "We love a self aware queen".
Another one pointed out that "at this point Jet2 should be named Jess2," while a third said: "So clever to lean into this lol".
However, for some the song brought back bad memories, with one person saying: "If she sings this at Capital Summertime Ball I'm walking out and going home, I cba," but Jess quipped back: "Don't forget to say bye before you leave!".
Many have a love-hate relationship with the song. On Twitter recently, one person asked: "Can someone start a petition to stop Jet2 using that f**kin Jess Glynne song?"
Another person said: "I miss flying with Jet2 and listening to Jess Glynne just before take off. It's been too long. If you know you know."
Another remarked: "I am on a Jet2 flight and Jess Glynne is literally playing on repeat ? No thanks."
Recently, another person called Nat Tweeted: "Forgot to mention I flew with Jet2 and they played Jess Glynne eight and a half times before we even took off and I honestly wanted to die."
The airline replied to the customer, saying: "Sorry to hear you're not a fan of the song, Nat. It really gets us in the holiday spirit! We'll pass your feedback on to our team."
