Jerry Sandusky Maintains Innocence In Sexual Abuse Conviction

Court Order.

Former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, who is currently serving a 30 to 60-year sentence for 45 counts of sexual abuse of children, recently spoke out in an interview with The Daily Mail. Sandusky, now 80 years old, continues to maintain his innocence, adamantly denying the accusations brought against him.

In the interview, Sandusky expressed disbelief at the allegations, stating that he never had any intentions of molesting anyone. He claimed that the accusations were based on inconsistent and perjured testimony, and he questioned the motives of his accusers, suggesting that they may have been influenced by financial incentives.

Sandusky also raised concerns about the validity of repressed memory therapy, indicating that his legal team is pursuing a hearing to challenge the use of this technique in his case. He argued that the stories of his accusers had changed over time, casting doubt on the credibility of their claims.

Despite the serious allegations against him, Sandusky's wife, Dottie, has remained steadfast in her support for her husband. She asserted that if he had committed the acts he was accused of, she would have taken a different stance.

Notably, Penn State University reached a settlement of over $100 million with more than 30 victims who came forward with allegations of abuse by Sandusky. The case has continued to spark debate and legal proceedings, with a hearing scheduled for June 26 to further examine the evidence and arguments presented.
