Jeremy Vine has shamed a motorist on Twitter after he almost knocked him off his bicycle as he cycled through London.
The BBC radio presenter and Channel 5 talk show host captured the moment on his helmet camera as he cycled to work today.
In the clip he is seen cycling through the street and beeps his horn as the motorist opens his car door and almost shoves him off his bike and into another vehicle.
Vine swerved to avoid the collision but posted it online as a reminder for others to keep an eye out for cyclists.
"I was ready for you mate," Vine wrote on Twitter. He is also heard shouting at the driver from the shock, but quickly continued his journey.
Vine attracted a flurry of comments with some showing sympathy and others taking the opportunity to criticise London's cyclists.
Some pointing out he should have stopped for a pedestrian followed the incident, igniting a row on the rules around zebra crossings.
Users even had a discussion about the merits of his bike horn.
One person stating: "90 per cent of cyclists in London are a menace to pedestrians, lost count of cyclists that go through red lights and zebra crossings putting people in danger who are not wearing helmets."
