Marvel star Jeremy Renner shared a photo from his hospital bed showing the extent of his bruising as he thanked his fans for support.
The actor was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after suffering "blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries" in an accident trying to help a stranded motorist. The safety feature on his Snow Cat plough failed which sent it rolling over him, causing "a lot of blood loss" and "extensive" injuries.
Jeremy has undergone two surgeries and remains in intensive care after suffering "blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries." The 51-year-old said he was "too messed up to type" but managed to share a picture of himself on Instagram showing his injuries.

The caption said: "Thank you all for your kind words. I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
His Marvel co-stars sent their support including The Avengers directors the Russo brothers who said: " Sending all of our love, brother, and hopes for a speedy recovery."
The Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt added: " Continued prayers your way brutha." Thor's Chris Hemsworth also said: " Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!"
