A 911 call from the scene of Jeremy Renner's horror accident has revealed the actor was crying out in pain, with his neighbour saying he had been "crushed" by a snow plough.
The 52-year-old was ran over by his 14,330lb Snowcat on New Year's Day, suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries.
He was airlifted to hospital following the incident, with sources close to the star claiming he "almost died".
In newly released audio, Jeremy can be heard moaning in pain in the background of the desperate emergency call, as the neighbour explained his injuries, including damage to his ribs, chest and head.
The unidentified neighbour said Jeremy lost "a lot of blood" in the accident.
The Marvel star was told to "lay still" while the emergency operator asked the neighbour questions.
"I need the address of the emergency please," the operator can be heard saying in the audio clip released by TMZ.
The distressed neighbour says they already told them the address, with Jeremy continuing to cry out in pain in the background.
"Immediately, somebody has been runover by a Snowcat, hurry," they said.
The operator replied: "Ok, what is the phone you're calling from, just in case we get disconnected?"
She asked the neighbour to explain exactly what happened.
"I don't know, someone is in front of my house and he got run over by a Snowcat. He's been crushed. Phone paramedics, ambulance."
The operator then reassured him that "everyone is on their way".
"Listen to me, you might want to get life line out here immediately," the neighbour pleaded.
They were asked where Jeremey was bleeding from before admitting they couldn't tell, before explaining he was crushed on his right side.
The neighbour said his ribs were crushed, adding that the actor also had a headwound.
The operator asked how Jeremy was doing, with the neighbour replying: "Shallow breath, a lot of pain, he's conscious we have him covered in blankets, his heads covered, he'll be drifting off."
Jeremy was later airlifted to hospital from a private road. He was said to be in a critical but stable condition after undergoing surgery.
