Jeremy Renner continues to recover from the snowplow accident that left him hospitalized in critical condition.
The “Avengers” actor posted a video showing him working out on an exercise bike nearly two months after suffering what a representative described as blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.
“Whatever it takes,” Renner wrote in the post to his Instagram story late Monday. Renner also shared an image of Mark Nepo’s “The Book of Awakening,” which he captioned, “Mental recovery too.”
Renner, 52, underwent surgery after being run over by his snowplow near his Reno, Nevada-area home on Jan. 1. He tweeted on Jan. 17 that he was home from the hospital, and later revealed he suffered at least 30 broken bones.
“If anyone knows Jeremy, he is a fighter and doesn’t mess around,” his sister, Kym Renner, told People in January. “He is crushing all the progress goals. We couldn’t feel more positive about the road ahead.”
For more than a decade, Renner has starred in Marvel movies and TV series as arrow-shooting superhero Hawkeye. His character headlines the 2021 Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” which also stars Hailee Steinfeld.
Renner is also known for Oscar-nominated performances in “The Hurt Locker” and “The Town,” blockbusters including “The Bourne Legacy” and two “Mission Impossible” movies, and the crime-thriller series “Mayor of Kingstown.”
