Jeremy Renner is in a wheelchair after horror accident and it's a 'miracle' he's mobile

Jeremy Renner is now in a wheelchair after being crushed by his 14,000lb snow plough, says his close friend and co-star in a new health update.

Avengers pal Evangeline Lilly, 43, said she was incredibly shocked to see her Marvel co-star's speedy recovery after breaking 30 bones in the horror incident.

Jeremy, 52, is "wheeling himself around" according to the actress who spoke of his recovery "miracle" at the premiere of Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania.

She praised her "legendary" pal for being "incredibly brave and strong" after the near-fatal ordeal which saw him dragged underneath his Pistunbully snowcat.

"He has recovered like a mo-fo," she told Access. "I walked in his house and got chicken skin, 'cause I was like, 'Why are you mobile? Why are you mobile? What's happening?'"

She explained: "I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn't able to move.

"He was wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends. It's a miracle, a straight-up miracle. He's made of something really tough, that guy.

"You've always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly, and I'm so grateful."

It was earlier last month that Jeremy shared a picture of his extensive recovery plan from home, showing his physical therapy from a hospital bed.

He penned to fans: "Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love.

"I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all.

"These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens . Love and blessings to you all."

Jeremy was attempting to save his nephew before he was crushed by his 14,000lb snow plough – leaving him with 30 broken bones.

Reports say the vehicle's parking brake, which could have prevented the horror ordeal, was not engaged - causing it to slide sideways, rolling over Jeremy's body.

According to a redacted Nevada sheriff's office incident report, Jeremy had been using the vehicle to free his relative's truck out of the snow before the terrifying incident.
