Jeremy Kyle has returned to TV, three years after his ITV show was sensationally axed. The presenter and broadcaster, 57, hosts a new show on TalkTV - Jeremy Kyle Live. The new show, which airs at 7pm, broadcasts an hour before fellow Talk TV presenter Piers Morgan's show.
In 2019, ITV's The Jeremy Kyle Show was taken off air after guest Steve Dymond was found dead at his home days after failing a lie detector test on the show. A much-delayed inquest into the circumstances has yet to be heard. Since then, Kyle has generally shied away from TV work but has still regularly appeared on the radio.
On his new TV show - which launched months after a Channel 4 documentary, The Jeremy Kyle Show: Death on Daytime, looked into the abrupt ending of the original - Kyle has promised "feisty debates" and "uncomfortable questions". But not everyone is happy that he has returned to TV. You can get more TV news and other story updates straight to your inbox by subscribing to our newsletters here.

After watching Kyle's Talk TV show, one person commented: "How is this guy back on tv?" Replying to one tweet about the new show, another wrote: "We don't want him back." And a third questioned the programme saying: "Why? Haven't we had enough to go through recently?"
And a fourth said: "#MentalHealthMatters whilst talking to Jeremy Kyle, good God," referring to World Mental Health Day, which took place on the day the programme launched.
But there was some support for Kyle, with one tweeting: "Welcome Back Jeremy Kyle. Congratulations on your new show. You're LOVED." Do you love or loathe Jeremy Kyle? Let us know in the comments.
