Jeremy Corbyn heading to Bristol for climate event

MP Jeremy Corbyn is set to come to Bristol next month to speak at a climate summit.

The former Labour leader will appear alongside South African activist Trevor Ngwane for an event organised by Bristol Climate Justice Coalition. This summit hopes to unite "individuals, groups, union organisations, all committed to fighting for a sustainable world".

His last appearance in Bristol was at a rally on College Green back in 2019 where approximately 1,000 people gathered to hear the then Labour Party Leader speak. He visited the city as part of the General Election campaign trail. His brother, Piers Corbyn, appeared before a court in Bristol last year accused of a Covid rule breach.
