Jeremy Clarkson to launch his own range of fizzy drinks and wines

Jeremy Clarkson is reportedly planning to launch his own range of fizzy drink products linked to his Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

The former Top Gear presenter previously took to his Instagram account to promote his very own lager, produced from the very farm featured on Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm.

And according to the Daily Star, he has since applied to trademark a range of products for fizzy pop - which would be called Diddly Squat Le Pop - that he will be able to sell at his shop.

The products would range from fruit drinks, soft drinks, sparkling, spring, flavoured and tonic waters as non-alcoholic drinks as well as his own Diddly Squat Le Pop wine.

His shop has featured in Clarkson's Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm which follows Clarkson as he runs a farm in the countryside with no previous farming experience.

The Diddly Pop application has been received and is currently in the examination stage, it has been reported.

He has also applied to trademark his catchphrase from the show: "I did a thing" as well as his infamous "I am a f*****" slogan, which features in his TV show's promotional campaign - standing for "farmer".

The applications were made to the UKs Intellectual Property Office, under the name of his smallholding's company Curdle Hill Farm Ltd and were submitted over the last few months.

It is hoped the terms will be used on products such as t-shirts, mugs and glasses and if successful, his trademarks will remain law for 10 years.

This means it will prevent others from cashing in on his name during that time and will provide legal protection for his brand.

According to the UKs Intellectual Property Office a trade mark is a sign which can distinguish your goods and services from those of your competitors.

A trademark is acceptable if it is distinctive for the goods and services you provide.

Fans previously went wild for Clarkson's own lager brand after he shared the news to his 4million followers.

Hawkstone lager came about after Jeremy realise that the hard and unforgiving land on his Cotswold farm can yield malting barley of unusually high quality – ideal for brewing.
