Jeremy Clarkson has been on the receiving end of some backlash after posting tweets about the heatwave in the UK.
The UK is set for a heatwave this week, with parts of the country are predicted to reach heights of 42 degrees. Part of Europe are also braced for the rising mercury, too.
A series of warnings have been shared, with Number 10 saying climate change is causing the trend of higher temperatures.
Meanwhile the UK Health Security Agency announced a level 4 heat-health alert, which is described as an emergency. While the Met Office has issued the UK's first ever red extreme heat warning.
As people focus on preparing for the extreme heat, former Top Gear host Jeremy took to Twitter and appeared to make a dig to the reaction and warnings ahead of the upcoming heatwave.
He wrote: "It’s very hot in the south of France but so far as I know, there’s no DefCon 8 level 3 killer death heatwave warning in place."
However, it appears 62-year-old Jeremy was misinformed as France has a number of weather warnings in place across the country, with parts of the west facing a "heat apocalypse", according to experts.
Jeremy's tweet received more than 48,000 likes while many replied to let Jeremy know he was misinformed.
One quipped: "No, but there’s a Defcon 8 level 3 weapons grade numpty tweeting right here" alongside a pointing upwards emoji.
Another added: "The French are taking it very seriously. There are red level extreme heat warnings in the west."
While a third said: "15 departments now at highest alert level, nimrod."
"You could, indeed you have, filled several books with all the stuff you don't know," another user scathed as they shared a map of the wildfires across Europe.
Meanwhile another user advised: "Sometimes Jeremy, it's fine to not tweet when you're so obviously in the wrong..."
"This is an exceptionally stupid thing to say," a sixth added.
And another wrote: "France is literally burning to the ground with 16,000 already evacuated. 1,000 people have died in Spain & Portugal in recent days. Jeremy Clarkson is a dangerous, ignorant fool."
However, Jeremy's tweets about the heatwave didn't stop there as he wrote in a second post: "I’ve spent my life working in extreme heat and we survived by having a beer under a tree. Climate change is real. Drink more beer."
But Jeremy's followers didn't see the funny side as one said: "Yeah let’s laugh about climate change".
"Jeremy can you please sit outside in 38 degree heat in England for 6 hours drinking beer and video the ending for us so we can see how you look and what state you’re in? Cheers mate," another asked.
While a third said: "From the guy that didn't know forests were burning in the south of France yesterday while tweeting about nothing was wrong in the south of France yesterday, this explains a lot.
"Don't fall asleep under the trees Jeremy. They're on fire."
