Jeremy Clarkson set to launch his own skincare line called 'Snail Juice'

Jeremy Clarkson is reportedly planning to launch his own skincare line called “Snail Juice”.

The former Top Gear host wants to sell face cream, hand cream, body cream, and shower cream at his Diddly Squat Farm Shop in the Cotswolds.

The 64-year-old’s company, Curdle Hill Farm Ltd, has applied to the UK government’s Intellectual Property Office to trademark the term, the Daily Mail reported.

The papers were filed last month and are currently under examination by lawyers, according to the newspaper.

If granted, Clarkson would have the “Snail Juice” trademark for 10 years.

The Clarkson’s Farm star’s foray into skincare comes after he launched a unisex fragrance called Diddly Squat Wet for £38.

He applied to trademark products like perfumes and candles linked to his Oxfordshire farm shop last year, however the papers were rejected.

Clarkson also has a range of farm shop products called Diddly Squat Fresh, which include jams, chutneys, juices, seasonings, and alcohol.

The name of his toiletries and fragrance line is Grubby Farmer.

Earlier this month, Clarkson came under fire for charging customers £200 for a pie at his farm shop, which is next to his pub, The Farmer’s Dog.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host was called out for the “overpriced” product, which is described as “extra extra large” and is made to order.

After a fan shared a video of the pie on Instagram, one critic commented: “Is it seriously £200 for a pie?!”

Another added: “I am wondering how they can justify prices like that. Can’t imagine there being any takers,” and a third posted: “Overpriced rubbish!”

Clarkson spoke out after backlash, saying that the pork pie featured on the shop counter is “made of straw”.

The Grand Tour star clarified in a video on Instagram: “Because the real giant pies we make fresh to order for our customers with the best British farmed ingredients and to whatever size you want.

“Great value for as many people as you want to cater for... and so delicious that our Steak and Hawkstone Pie is now entered in the most prestigious pie competition in the country - watch this space for results!"
