Jeremy Clarkson 's daughter has stated she 'stands against everything' her father recently wrote about Meghan Markle.
Instagram influencer Emily Clarkson, 28, took to social media earlier today [December 18] to 'make it clear' she stands in support of 'those targeted with online hatred, following her father's disturbing rant about the Duchess of Sussex.
Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy has been slammed by thousands of people thanks to his claims he "hates [Meghan] on a cellular level" and wants her to be "paraded naked through the streets".
The 62-year-old wrote in his newspaper column how he "dreams of people throwing lumps of excrement at her" in the insensitive spew of hatred towards Meghan - who he has never met.
Jeremy - who attended an event the Queen Consort was present at this week - has been criticised by many public figures, including politicians, for using his column in The Sun to take aim at Meghan.
Addressing her 268,000 Instagram followers this afternoon, Jeremy's daughter Emily wrote: "My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, bullying and the treatment of women by the media.
"I want to make it very clear that I stand against everything that my dad wrote about Meghan Markle and I remain standing in support of those that are targeted with online hatred."
Jeremy's vile comments came as a reaction to Meghan and Prince Harry's docuseries, which saw the Duchess open up about suffering with suicidal thoughts.
The couple used the Netflix series to share their side of the story after stepping away from the Royal Family in 2020.
In his latest column for The Sun, Jeremy said how he felt "sorry" for Prince Harry and said that he is being "controlled" by his wife.
He dubbed Harry a "glove puppet", before going on to share his disturbing fantasies involving Meghan.
An extract of Jeremy's controversial column was shared on Twitter over the weekend, leading to thousands of social media users condemning the TV star for his vitriol comments.
Comedian John Bishop wrote: "WTF is this ??
"I don't care who you are or who you work for you simply can not write things like this. It is a blatant appeal to incite humiliation and violence on a woman. Some have excused it as dark humour. There is [no] joke here @JeremyClarkson and no excuse."
Cold Feet actress Fay Ripley also shared the extract and added: "This is violent. @JeremyClarkson stop now. Face charges. Apologise."
Jeremy is yet to address the backlash but took to his Twitter account earlier today to show his support for France ahead of the World Cup 2022 final kicking off.
