Jeremy Clarkson has issued a filming update for fans ahead of series three of Clarkson's Farm. Set on the Grand Tour presenter's Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire, the documentary series chronicles Clarkson's journey as he attempts to learn and manage all aspects of farming.
The motoring journalist made just £144 from the farm in the first series of the documentary, which he bought in 2008. Until his retirement in 2019, the site was managed by a local villager, but is now in the hands of Clarkson.
The series, which first aired on Amazon prime in June 2021, has been enormously popular. Throughout the series, viewers have witnessed the challenges and mishaps Clarkson encounters while dealing with the daily reality of farming including, rearing animals, operating machinery.
Plus coping with red-tape and coping with devastating weather conditions. This is all against the backdrop of Jeremy being far from popular with Chadlington's locals.
The second series of Clarkson's Farm landed on Prime Video back in February 2023, but fans are now eager to hear when the next instalment of it will be released. Giving fans an update on Instagram, Clarkson replied to a viewer that: "We actually won't finish filming it till October.
"There's something we are trying which won't be resolved till then. So it's a while off yet."
When series three of Clarkson's Farm will be released
In February 2023, Clarkson replied to a fan asking when series three may be released, to which he said that it would roughly take 18 months. This places the arrival of series three of Clarkson's Farm around August 2024.
Speaking about a new series, Jeremy announced: "I'm genuinely thrilled that we are doing a third season of Clarkson's Farm. I've had some great new ideas, all of which have made Charlie, Lisa and Kaleb deeply unhappy."
