Jeremy Clarkson chose to ignore the growing backlash from his Meghan Markle rant as he returned to social media after his latest newspaper column sparked mass outrage.
The former Top Gear host, 62, has been condemned for suggesting the Duchess, 41, should be paraded naked through the streets and said he 'dreamed' of people throwing 'lumps of excrement' at her.
Actress Kathy Burke called the presenter a "colossal c**t" after the comment and even Jeremy's own daughter spoke out against the 'misogynistic' rant.
But the Clarkson's Farm star didn't seem too concerned with his unpopularity this weekend as he ignored the furore to show support for France as they played Argentina at the Qatar World Cup Final on Sunday.
"Really really. Come on France," he wrote, after saying: "Obviously, I don’t care who wins this just so long as they go on to absolutely batter Argentina."
But fans hadn't forgotten Jeremy's comments about the Duchess, with one replying: "If they loose who you saying should get naked and s**t on?"
While another posted a screenshot of the presenter's Sun column in which he made the vile statement, saying: "You can sit yourself down after this. You've lost it."
Over the weekend Jeremy sparked a huge outcry after declaring he 'hated' Meghan on a "cellular level" as he responded to the former Suits star's bombshell documentary Harry & Meghan being released on Netflix.
Apparently livid with the mum-of-two, the presenter shared his fantasy about Meghan being "paraded naked through the streets" where he "dreams of people throwing lumps of excrement at her".
However, Jeremy's daughter Emily, 28, stated she 'stands against everything' her father wrote about Prince Harry's wife.
The Instagram influencer took to social media to 'make it clear' she stands in support of 'those targeted with online hatred, following her father's disturbing rant.
Addressing her 268,000 Instagram followers, she said: "My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, bullying and the treatment of women by the media.
"I want to make it very clear that I stand against everything that my dad wrote about Meghan Markle and I remain standing in support of those that are targeted with online hatred."
Carol Vorderman was also disgusted, saying: "NO Jeremy Clarkson. Not on any level, in any circumstance, is it ok to write this stuff about any woman & absolutely NO to 'everyone who's my age thinks the same' No no no. We absolutely do NOT think the same. Listen to the noise Jeremy. The crowds are chanting 'shame on YOU'."
On Wednesday - hours before the release of the final three bombshell episodes of Harry & Meghan, Jeremy was pictured attending an exclusive Christmas lunch with Camilla, Queen Consort.
Piers Morgan, who himself has made no secret of his contempt for Meghan, was also on the guest list for the luxurious "white truffle" lunch, which was hosted by Fortnum and Mason, in Mayfair.
