Jeremy Clarkson is set to become even more stinking rich – with his own toiletries.
The presenter, journalist and writer is planning a range called Grubby Farmer.
He has applied to trademark products linked to his Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
This will allow the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host to splash the term over an array of merchandise.
Clarkson’s small holding at Chadlington, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, is a popular tourist spot after featuring in his hit Amazon Prime Video documentary series.
The ex-Top Gear anchor’s trademark application to the UK’s Intellectual Property Office – covering aftershave, shaving and hand creams, anti-wrinkle items and perfume – is being considered by the Government department.
Clarkson, not the sort normally linked to male grooming, has lodged the Diddly Pop application under his company name, Curdle Hill Farm Ltd.
The trademark, if it passed in the coming weeks, will remain in place for 10 years and will prevent black marketeers from cashing in on his name.
The Grand Tour host, worth some £55.8million, has also trademarked cocktails and low-alcohol drinks.
Additionally, he has protected his “I am a f***er” slogan, which features in the TV show.
The f-bomb stands for “farmer” and he hopes to use that term on the likes of T-shirts, glasses, mugs and beer mats.
Clarkson’s Diddly Squat website offers a B******* Candle, described as “the unique and leathery scent of my car seat, blended with hints of earthy spices”.
It adds: “A totally unique and bespoke scent, created for Jeremy.”
