Jeremy Clarkson confirms Clarkson's Farm season 3 with three words

No sooner had second series of Clarkson's Farm dropped than a third was confirmed. Its star Jeremy Clarkson has insisted there will be another series in just three words on social media, following speculation the show would be axed by Amazon Prime Video.

The anticipated Clarkson's Farm series two was released on the streaming platform on February 10. It has been reported that Amazon Prime won't renew contracts with Jeremy beyond series that had already been commissioned followed his controversial comments about Meghan Markle in a newspaper column in December.

Jeremy later admitted the language he used in the piece was "disgraceful" and said he was "profoundly sorry" in a belated public apology last month. The axing rumours had many fans wondering whether there would be a third series of Clarkson Farm.

But now Jeremy - who currently also presents the Amazon Prime series The Grand Tour as well as ITV's Who Wants to be a Millionaire? - has all but confirmed there will be. He had posted on Twitter encouraging people to watch newly-released series two, adding: "People seem to be loving it. And the soundtrack is amazing."

A fan replied to the tweet by writing: "I loved it watched it on Saturday that just passed, loved the show cant wait for a season 3 if there is one." In response, former Top Gear presenter Jeremy simply put: "There is one."

Fans of the show were delighted with the news, with Adam Long (@Long1897) commenting: "Best news I’ve heard in a LONG time! I have learned so much from Clarkson’s Farm.

"I was never appreciative of or properly thankful for the work and sacrifice that goes into my daily bread. I am now. Thank you

Another user @iratespecialyst wrote: "Glad to [hear] it! If Amazon tries to cancel you, I’m canceling Amazon. What you are doing is one of the most entertaining shows out there.

"It is also important to our civilization. People have forgotten what it takes to put food on the table and the importance of farmers/ranchers."

One fan (@Dr_Adi_G) tweeted: "Awesome, great show. I love the serious messages and awareness the show tries to highlight through the humour. We've had farm shops, Roll on farm cooperatives and farm restaurants."

Tom Patterson (@tompatterson124) responded: "Brilliant news for the farming community". Steph Sutcliffe (@StephSutcliffe3) added: "Best programme on tv." Siân (@therealsiani): "Great! It's truly fantastic!"

The eight-episode second series followed Jeremy as he looks to boost profit by diversifying his Chipping Norton farm with cows, more chickens and his own restaurant. However, he has to fight against council red tape amid objections from West Oxfordshire District Council to his plans.
