Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah feeling the love after inking extension in Cleveland

No team in the NFL has more players under contract who are making $10 million or more a year than the Cleveland Browns. They were tied with the Philadelphia Eagles until they signed standout linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah to a three-year extension.

Before the team’s first joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings, the newly extended Owusu-Koramoah talked about what this extension meant to him.

“Been a while negotiating, but man it feels good. It feels like I’m loved…it feels good to be locked into a place and have the place also respect you and give you honor.”

The leap Owusu-Koramoah took last year under Jim Schwartz was so much fun to watch, and his head coach, Kevin Stefanski, has talked this off-season about how they expect he has even more in him.

After a big year last year, if Owusu-Koramoah can take control of the green dot and play 100% of the defensive snaps, this deal will be a major bargain for the Browns.
