Jennifer Lopez has opened up about the process of bringing her blended family together six months after tying the knot with Ben Affleck.

The Jenny From The Block singer, 53, is mum to 14-year-old twins Emme and Max, while Affleck has three children of his own - Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10.

During an appearance on the Today show in the US to promote her new film Shotgun Wedding alongside her co-star Josh Duhamel, Lopez - also known as J-Lo - revealed that they are now all living under the same roof and described it overall as having been a “phenomenal year”.

She explained: “We moved in together. The kids moved in together. It’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams coming true.’

Lopez shares her twins with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, 54, while Affleck shares his three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 50.

Lopez and Good Will Hunting star Affleck finally said “I do” in July – nearly two decades after their first engagement ended in a tabloid feast.

“And it’s just been a phenomenal year. Like, my best year I think since my kids were born,” she added on the show.
