Jennifer Lopez has never shied away from being open about her quest for love.
The 52-year-old actress and singer, who previously described her relationship journey as "very up and down", has been married three times, been engaged twice more, and dated some of the biggest names in Hollywood in between.
Jennifer, whose Netflix special Jennifer Lopez: Halftime is now streaming on Netflix, made it clear she hadn't given up on love, telling Harper's Bazaar in 2018 that she "would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship".
Currently engaged to Ben Affleck for the second time, here's a look at Jennifer Lopez's full relationship history.
Ojani Noa
Jennifer Lopez married producer Ojani Noa in February 1997, in what ended up being a short-lived marriage. They divorced only 11 months later.
In August 2007, a permanent injunction was issued forbidding Noa "criticising, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging" his ex-wife.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs
Lopez started dating hip-hop legend P Diddy, then known as Puff Daddy, in 1999 after meeting on the set of a music video.
The pair split up in 2001, with Lopez alleging in 2003 interview with Vibe magazine that Diddy was unfaithful during their relationship.
Meanwhile, the former rapper only had good things to say about the Selena actress, saying she was one of his greatest loves, "without a doubt."
The pair also seem to be friendly terms, being seen embracing each other backstage at Lopez's Las Vegas residency, All I Have , in September 2018.
Cris Judd
Dancer Cris Judd and Jennifer Lopez met on the set of her Love Don't Cost A Thing music video, tying the knot in September 2001.
However, by June 2002, after less than a year of marriage, they split up, with their divorce being finalised in 2003.
Speaking of why their marriage ended, Judd told Us Weekly: "When you sign up to get married, you can't just walk away.
"Everyone has baggage and problems. It's whether you want to deal with those problems."
Judd has since remarried to Kelly Wolfe, with whom he has a daughter, Vivienne.
Ben Affleck
Famously nicknamed "Bennifer" by the media, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck met while filming Gigli and got engaged in November 2002.
However, they called off their wedding four days before the event and then split up in January 2004.
The Ain't Your Mama singer spoke of her split from Affleck, telling Vanity Fair that she was "eviscerated" by the end of the relationship.
Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares daughters Violet and Seraphina, and son Samuel. They divorced in 2018 and by May 2021 Lopez and Affleck had rekindled their romance.
The couple, reported by Us to be "very happy together," confirmed they were officially engaged in April 2022.
Marc Anthony
Lopez married Marc Anthony in June 2004, welcoming twins Max and Emme with him in February 2008.
The couple announced their split in July 2011, with Lopez telling W in April 2016 that she "knew very quickly that [their marriage] wasn’t the right thing".
Beau 'Casper' Smart
Four months after splitting from Anthony, Jennifer began dating backup dancer Beau 'Casper' Smart in November 2011. Lopez later hired Smart as the creative director for her Las Vegas residency.
The pair's relationship hit a rough patch in 2014, after gossip site The Dirty claimed it had evidence of Smart exchanging messages and photos with a transgender model.
Lopez and Smart broke up in June 2014, but had an on-and-off relationship till 2016. There doesn't seem to be any hard feelings between the former lovers, with Smart describing Lopez as " phenomenal" during a 2017 interview with Us Weekly.
Drake
Drake and JLo first linked up backstage after he attended her Vegas residency in December 2016. In January 2017, a source revealed that the musicians were dating, but by February of the same year it was confirmed the pair had called it quits.
The rapper touched on their romance in song Diplomatic Immunity, referencing Jen's relationship with Alex Rodriguez, rapping "2017 I lost a J. Lo / A Rotterdam trip had me on front page, though."
Alex Rodriguez
Jennifer Lopez and former Yankee Alex Rodriguez announced their engagement in March 2019 after over two years of dating.
The pair were first linked in February 2017, with sources claiming they were looking to move in together in October 2018.
However, the pair had to postpone their wedding multiple times during the pandemic, with reports emerging in March 2021 that they had called off their two-year engagement and split up.
Lopez and Rodriguez announced they were breaking up in April 2021, with a joint statement: "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.
"We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."
