Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are said to be celebrating their marriage at the same venue they planned to wed at 20 years ago.
The couple surprised fans when they married in a low-key Las Vegas ceremony over the weekend and now it has been reported that the newlyweds are planning a wedding party with their friends and family at Affleck’s $9million (£7.48million) estate in Georgia.
According to TMZ, it is the exact same venue they had originally planned to marry at in 2002 before they called off the nuptials days before the wedding citing the media circus surrounding it.
The Oscar-winning star purchased the home in 2003 when he was still with Lopez and paid just over $7million (£5.8million) for the property in the coastal town of Riceboro, an hour’s drive outside of Savanna, Georgia.
Affleck previously listed the 87 acre property in 2019 for almost $9million, but it has yet to have been sold and now the pair are revisiting it for their wedding party 20 years on.
The sprawling estate features several homes, including a 10,000 square foot, two story main house and a smaller, 6,000 square foot home.
People did not name when or where Bennifer’s second wedding will take place, but TMZ report the event will take place in the next few ‘weeks.’
It was also claimed that Jennifer recently flew to the Georgia house to look it over and talk plans with her manager Benny Medina. Ben was also believe to be on site.
On Monday, PEOPLE reported that the elopement is just the start of their pair’s wedding celebrations and claimed that they are planning “on having a bigger party so they can celebrate with family and friends.
“They don't have a honeymoon planned yet. Jennifer says that every day with Ben is a honeymoon.”
In her newsletter, Lopez confirmed she and Affleck had finally said “I do” at at an intimate ceremony held at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Only Lopez’s two children and her mother were present, along with Affleck’s three children from his previous marriage to actress Jennifer Garner.
The Maid In Manhattan actress and Good Will Hunting actor announced their engagement in April, 18 years after they originally called off their wedding.
They rekindled their relationship last year.
