Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reached a settlement in their divorce proceedings, with Lopez filing documents in Los Angeles Superior Court to finalize their breakup. The former couple settled their divorce through mediation in September, shortly after Lopez filed for divorce. While specific financial details were not disclosed, it was noted that neither party will be paying spousal support. Once the divorce is finalized, Lopez will drop Affleck from her legal name.

The high-profile couple tied the knot in July 2022 but faced challenges in their relationship, leading to Lopez filing for divorce in August 2024. Court filings indicated that they had actually separated in April 2023. Despite their initial split in the early 2000s, following their engagement and appearances in films like 'Gigli' and 'Jersey Girl,' Lopez and Affleck found their way back to each other after two decades and eventually remarried.

According to records filed on Monday, the financial aspects of their divorce were resolved amicably through mediation, avoiding prolonged court proceedings. Notably, the couple does not have any children together. Affleck, who was previously married to Jennifer Garner and shares three children with her, finalized his divorce in 2018. Lopez, on the other hand, has been married four times and has twins with singer Marc Anthony.

The settlement details were initially reported by celebrity news outlet TMZ, shedding light on the amicable resolution of the divorce between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
