Jennifer Aniston's This Morning rule break prompts 'urgent' apology as star swears live on air

Jennifer Aniston forced an 'urgent' apology from This Morning host Holly Willoughby on Thursday, after breaking a 'golden' rule on the ITV show. by swearing live on air.

Hollywood A-lister Jennifer, best known to millions across the world as Rachel in Friends, was a superstar guest on This Morning as presenters Phillip and Holly fronted their final; episode of the week, before Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary do the honours on Friday. Jennifer was joined on screen, via video call from Paris by Adam Sandler, her co-star in Murder Mystery 2.

The big names are back on the promotional trail after the first instalment of the Netflix movie proved immensely popular, but things took a turn when quizzed on what life was like on set with The Wedding Singer star Adam.

Giving her answer, Jennifer used what she thought was the perfectly harmless description of it being all "'s***s and giggles," unaware the use of 's**ts," goes against This Morning protocol, given its daily timeslot well before the 9pm watershed.

It was Holy who swiftly jumped in to offer an apology to viewers who may have been offended by Jennifer's bad language as,. trying but failing to stay professional, Phillip chuckled beside her.

Jennifer looked slightly confused, and clearly unaware that she was on live TV, she suggested they could 'bleep that bit out.," as Phillip assured her: ""We love it, we love it, it’s fine!" Jennifer also got some support from Adam, who told her: "At least you said giggles, there was happiness after it."

During the interview, Jennifer also spoke about her role in hit TV series The Morning Show, with Phillip reminding her that he once had a cameo in the Apple TV hit.
