Jennifer Aniston opens up on craving 'support' and why she would 'love a relationship'

Jennifer Aniston has admitted she would love to be in a relationship again following her divorce from Justin Theroux in 2017.

The Friends star, 53, confessed she's not on the lookout for husband number three, but is missing the "support" provided from a relationship.

Prior to her marriage to Justin, Jennifer had also been married to fellow actor Brad Pitt between 2000 and 2005. And while she says "never say never" about walking down the aisle again, she says she's no interest in doing so.

Instead, she's on yearning for a partner after revealing being single can often be overwhelming.

Speaking to Allure for its December cover story, the actress said: "I'd love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, 'I need support'.

"It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody's arms and say, 'That was a tough day'."

Despite having remained single since her second divorce, Jennifer discussed moving onto a new "period" of her life.

She continued: "I feel like I'm coming through a period that was challenging and coming back into the light," before adding she "had to do personal work that was long overdue, parts of me that hadn't healed from the time I was a little kid".

Jennifer labelled herself a "constant work in progress" before joking about how it would be "uninteresting" if we didn't continue to adapt.

Discussing any potential new relationship, the Morning Show star confessed the time would come only once she had fully worked on herself and the traumas she faced.

And while she says she's still friendly with both of her ex husbands, she surprised in saying Justin had recently called by her house.

She described how he wasn't impressed by her new decor of the cottage he used to use as his office during the marriage as she had "lightened" it up.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Hollywood star claimed the "ship has sailed" when it comes to her becoming pregnant after failed IVF attempts.

She confessed she wished someone told her to freeze her eggs when she was younger and also poured cold water over the claims her relationship with Brad faltered as she didn't want kids.
