Jenna Ortega To Star In Romantic Drama At Tribeca Premiere

Jenna Ortega, known for her roles in various films and TV series, is set to star in the upcoming movie 'Winter Spring Summer or Fall,' which will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. The romantic drama, rated R, features Ortega alongside Percy Hynes White, her co-star from the Netflix series 'Wednesday.'

The film follows the story of a Harvard-bound girl genius and a laid-back guy who cross paths in their final year of high school. Directed by Tiffany Paulsen, the movie also stars Marisol Nichols, Adam Rodriguez, Elias Kacavas, and Evangeline Barrosse.

The world premiere of 'Winter Spring Summer or Fall' is scheduled to take place at the OKX Theater at BMCC TPAC in New York City on June 6 at 5 p.m. ET. Additional screenings will be held at Village East by Angelika on June 7 at 2:30 p.m. ET and on June 15 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Tickets for all showings are available on the Tribeca Film Festival website.

In a separate project, Ortega recently starred in the Netflix movie 'Miller's Girl,' which premiered on April 26. The R-rated psychological drama explores the complex relationship between an 18-year-old student, portrayed by Ortega, and her older teacher, played by Martin Freeman. The film has sparked discussions due to its controversial subject matter.

Ortega's co-star from 'Wednesday,' Percy Hynes White, joins her in the romantic drama.

Looking ahead, Ortega is set to appear in 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,' the sequel to the 1988 comedy classic 'Beetlejuice,' directed by Tim Burton. In this film, Ortega plays Astrid Deetz, the daughter of Lydia Deetz, a character from the original movie. 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' is slated for release on September 6.

Aside from her film projects, Ortega is currently filming the second season of 'Wednesday,' a series expected to premiere on Netflix in 2025. 'Winter Spring Summer or Fall' will be distributed worldwide by Paramount, although the official theatrical release date has not been announced yet.

As part of the Tribeca Film Festival's Spotlight Narrative category, 'Winter Spring Summer or Fall' will be showcased during the festival running from June 5 to June 16 in New York City.
