Jenna Bush Hager baby: Today co-anchor welcomes third child with husband Henry Hager

As of Friday morning at 9:02am, Jenna Bush Hager and husband Henry Hager are parents of three. The couple welcomed their son Henry Harold ‘Hal’ Hager into the world last week, weighing in at 7 lbs. 5 oz.

“He is named Henry after many on his father’s side including his dear dad and his paternal grandfather,” Bush Hager told People. “Harold comes from my maternal grandfather, Pa, who I loved dearly and was unable to keep a son long enough to name,” she says.

The Today show co-anchor shared an Instagram post to announce the news. The caption on the photo of Bush Hager and her husband cuddling up with their newborn read, “Welcome to the world my darling Henry Harold “Hal” Hager! Hal came into the world Friday, August 2, 2019 at 9:02am and our life has never been sweeter. ❤️❤️👶🏼”

‘Hal’ joins his sisters Poppy Louise, who will be four on August 13, and Margaret ‘Mila’ Laura, who is six years old. “His sisters are thrilled to have a little brother and already nicknamed his nickname, exclaiming ‘welcome to the world Hal Pal!’” Bush Hager told People.

The two girls have been involved in the pregnancy since learning the news from the ‘Easter Bunny’ just before Bush Hager broke the news on air on the Today show in April.

Three years prior, the Hollywood Medium, Tyler Henry, had told Bush Hager she would have a son in the future. She told Henry she planned to name this son after her grandfather, which she duly did.

It seems Henry’s prophecy has finally been fulfilled – welcome, Hal.
