Jeffree Star has revived a years-old rumour involving Kanye West, following a recent disturbing claim made by the controversial rapper on social media.
ICYMI, West took to X on Monday to share a snippet of his new song “Cousins”, accompanying the track with a personal account of its origins and message.

West, who also goes by Ye, said the song is “about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady”.
West then went on to detail claims of an incestuous relationship with his male cousin, with whom he “looked at dirty magazines” while they were both young boys.
“Perhaps in my self centred mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was six and then we acted out what we saw,” West wrote.
“My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins dick till I was 14. Tweet sent.”
In the accompanying song, West raps about “reenacting everything [he and his cousin] had seen” in the magazines, and mentions “giv[ing] my cousin head” and asking him to “not tell nobody”.
West’s admission garnered intense interest, and Star appeared to weigh in on the commentary with a message of his own.
“Ok fuck it.. The rumours were true,” Star wrote.

Many took the YouTuber’s post as a reference to speculation dating back to 2021, when rumours swirled on social media that Star and West were romantically involved.
That rumour took off like wildfire when TikToker Ava Louise falsely claimed West was involved with a “male beauty guru”, citing the fact that both Star and West had homes in Wyoming.
At the time, both Star and West denied the rumour — which was later found to be completely fabricated — with the former describing it in a YouTube video as “the dumbest shit” and adding that he and West had “never hung out”.
For his part, a source close to West — who was battling affair and divorce rumours ahead of his eventual split from ex-wife Kim Kardashian — told E! News at the time that “there is absolutely no truth to the Jeffree and Kanye rumours.”
Given all that, it seems Star’s more recent post is, as some social media users have suggested, an attempt to bait off the back of West’s admission on X yesterday.

In any case, it’s not the first time West has raised eyebrows with his social media activity in recent months.
In March, West took to X to respond to Iggy Azalea‘s recount of her inappropriate meeting with him back in 2012, and before that, the rapper made mention of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children in another bizarre X post.
That post — in which West questioned the mental capacity of the couple’s twins, Rumi and Sir — reportedly caught the ire of Kardashian, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, the latter two of whom were said to be considering legal action.
