TV presenter Jeff Stelling has announced his departure from Sky Sports and Gillette Soccer Saturday for the second time after 30 years with the broadcaster.
The 68-year-old had previously said he would step down from the show at the end of the 2021/22 season, but returned for another year, with his final broadcast set to be on May 28th - the final day of the Premier League season.
However, the presenter was able to poke fun at himself as he told audiences of his impending departure, with Stelling making reference to the 1993 Bill Murray classic 'Groundhog Day'.

"It is Groundhog Day! Yes, it's that time of the year, every year, that I announce I'll be leaving Sky Sports and Gillette Soccer Saturday but this time it is true," Stelling jokingly admitted.
"30 fantastic years on Sky, you lot out there have supported marvellously as have Sky. It's time to give you a break from all the VAR rants and the bad gags and the over-the-top celebrations when Hartlepool score a goal. It's been a lot of fun - for me at least!
"It's time to give somebody else a chance to do this fantastic job. So, I'm leaving on May 28th, still got a few programs since then but this is the last six-hour Gillette Soccer Saturday.
"We better get on with it then, shall we?"
