Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah offered up a little morsel over the draft weekend on his rehab process from surgery to repair his torn Achilles. Okudah posted a quick clip on his Instagram story that showed him moving pretty well.
The third-year CB apparently liked the positive response and got to work on a longer clip in full living color. Okudah posted a 49-second clip of his workout on Day 223 of his rehab to his Twitter account. And he looks very impressive moving around the field doing various drills.
Okudah doesn’t appear limited in his range of motion or explosiveness. He quickly changes direction after sprinting to haul in a deep INT and explodes out of the cut nicely. He’s added more burst and change of direction since his last update that he posted a little over a month ago.
Day 223. God, I’m thankful for all of it. 🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/XpKi1f96SO

Okudah suffered the injury midway through last year’s Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The Lions are hoping the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft can return and provide a lift to the secondary.
